SHOW NOTES

Lately, I've been observing a fascinating trend amongst my students. When they find thought work, they KNOW they have unlocked the secret to the universe. Within weeks or their first month, they are able to see the unintentional thoughts that have been holding them back, and use the self-coaching Framework to get unstuck.

But then...the crash happens. Usually at around six months of practicing thought work, they will wake up and realize that they are back to feeling like shit. And even worse, this time they know it is caused by their thoughts! So what happened?

This is the Dark Place. I've been there, and if you've been there, you know what I'm talking about. It's the burn out after the initial high of thought work, and it's usually where we realize the negative effects of our perfectionist brains running amok. Tune in this week to learn the common themes that push us into this burnout, and the strategies to get yourself out.

Note! Thought work burn out and depression can often present similarly. If you believe you are experiencing depression, please seek support from a mental health professional in addition to your thought work.
