Have you ever found yourself telling a new friend a white lie, just to keep the conversation going? What about telling yourself a new crush's interest will "grow on you"? These small lies seem harmless, and to other people they are. But for you, I see white lies as a symptom of a bigger problem.

When we're consistently telling white lies or people pleasing our way through life, it's usually because we haven't trained two key skills: our self worth and our capacity to ask. Yes, I consider self worth a skill and believe that you can train your brain to increase your self worth.
